Suzanne teaches a range of courses in computing including data management, data science, visualisation and AI methods for undergraduate, taught masters and PhD students. Her courses are designed to challenge students and help them develop skills for future careers in the tech industry.
- CSC1158 Data Processing & Visualisation: introducing all aspects of data capture, ingestion, processing, formatting, cleaning and tranforming. Practical skills in communication and data visualisation using a range of tools. This class is making use of DataCamp which provides free, interactive courses for many data science skills.
- CSC1143 Data Management & Visualisation: This module has three variations and covers the fundamentals of a data analytics pipeline including data storage options, indexing, privacy and designing effective data-driven visualisations.
- Artificial Intelligence Methods: a specialist training course for the CRT in Artificial Intelligence consisting of intensive weeks focusing on key topics in AI.
Prof. Little is involved in several cutting-edge research projects, focusing on applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
